Join Samira and George at Aven in Preston. Since opening in 2023, Aven has become known for great food and proper Northern hospitality. Led by directors Alex Blamire and Oli Martin, the team brings together a wealth of experience and a shared passion for showcasing the best of the North.
In the kitchen, Head Chef Sean Wrest draws on his background in Michelin-starred restaurants to create seasonal dishes that are full of flavour and care. Out front, Sam Haigh leads a lovely team who make sure everyone feels right at home.
Aven’s a small, relaxed spot where good food, good people and good times come together to create that proper Northern welcome.

Join Samira and George for a one-night Epicurean Duo menu with the brilliant team at Sauce Supper Club. Known for hosting relaxed fine-dining events, Sauce brings together great venues, great produce and chefs who simply love to cook.
Guests can expect a laid-back evening built around seasonal ingredients, thoughtful dishes with a bespoke menu created for the event. It’s a chance to enjoy The Epicurean Duo’s cooking in an intimate setting, surrounded by people who appreciate good food, good wine and a proper night out.

THE EPICUREAN DUO AT HUTTON WANDESLEY STABLES

York, Yorkshire
A special evening hosted in the beautiful Hutton Wandesley Stables & Walled Garden, set within a private 3000-acre estate just outside York. The venue is known for its restored Stables, peaceful surroundings and warm, welcoming team, the perfect backdrop for an intimate dinner.
Guests will be welcomed with a seasonal cocktail before sitting down to a 7-course menu with petit fours, created and cooked by The Epicurean Duo. Expect seasonal produce, thoughtful cooking and a relaxed atmosphere in a space designed for memorable events.
It’s an intimate dining room with limited seats, making this one of the smaller and more exclusive events in the calendar.
